Initiative by Serendipity Partners, Pharm Assist and LINK Medical to establish North European Life Sciences Service Group (“LSSG”).

May 13, 2022 Uppsala, Sweden – Pharm Assist Sweden Holding AB announces today that 100% of the shares in Pharm Assist Sweden AB (“Pharm Assist”), have been acquired by a life science service group (“LSSG”), newly established by Serendipity Partners (“Serendipity”). Serendipity is a Norwegian investment company with NOK 2 billion under management, that invests in healthcare companies that provide benefits to patients and society.

LSSG was established to develop a North European life sciences service group with the mission to provide services to pharmaceutical, medical device and other life science companies to support the delivery of superior clinical outcomes, improved patient care, and market access.

As part of the strategy, LSSG recently announced the acquisition of the Norwegian CRO LINK Medical AS (“LINK Medical”). – “We are very happy to welcome Pharm Assist and its exceptional expert consultants as part of LSSG together with LINK Medical,” says Michael Bodd, Partner at Serendipity and Chairman of the Board in LSSG.

He continues, “Our clients will get personal links to our consultants through both a larger geographic footprint and service offering in the Nordics and northern Europe.” Dr. Ehrnebo will reinvest some of the proceeds from the sale into the new LSSG, and actively participate in the future development of the business.

Initially, the new LSSG will employ above 250 people with annual revenues of approximately EUR 30 million. The two companies will operate as independent brands and drive synergies to increase value for clients.
